ListSTAR - Administration Tools

• Backup ListSTAR (308 K)
  Download this utility to simplify backup of ListSTAR services. Includes balloon help and and drag-and-drop.
• Remote Control (30 K)
  Download this package to remotely control your Macintosh via email.
• RFC Triggers (35 K)
  Script shows how to check the RFC headers in a mail message.
• Paging with ListSTAR (41 K)
  Download this package to have ListSTAR automatically send pages via Mark/Space PageNow! package.
• Rename Address List File Names (35 K)
  [ListSTAR 1.1 or later needed] Renames the Address List Real File Name to be the same as the Display Name in the Address List Editor Window.
• ListSTAR Address List Sorter
  The ListSTAR Address List Sorter is a little gem will sort your address list files by domain order, which in turn, will get your mail out signifcantly faster. It will also, optionally, remove invalid and duplicate email addresses.
• Return Subscribers
  Return Subscribers is a tiny utility that allows you to set up rules in services to return selected address lists. All the configuration is handled within ListSTAR (for the rules), and the Return Subscribers utility (to specify which address lists are returned for which services).
• ListSTAR Probe
  ListSTAR Probe is a utility that allows you to send customized message to all users in a particular mailing list. It's main purpose was as an aid to tracking down invalid addresses that were being forwarded, but it can be used in any number of ways.

ListSTAR - Mailing List Tools

• ListSTAR Bounce
  Automates "bounced" address handling. Processes bounced mail and creates pre-formatted files of defunct addresses that you simply send to ListSTAR for removal, or can be set up to autmatically send AppleEvents to ListSTAR to remove bad email addresses.
• Subscribe and Unsubscribe Script (23 K)
  These scripts will allow you to subscribe and unsubscribe users to ListSTAR mailing lists by sending a mail message with the addresses in the body to ListSTAR.
• List Editor Script (289 K)
  This application allows you to subscribe, unsubscribe, or check users in ListSTAR address lists. Currently, the server must be on the same machine.
• Return Subscriber List (30 K)
  This script will return the subscribers of an address list in a formatted format.
• Digest File Script (36 K)
  [ListSTAR 1.1 or later needed] This script is used to join a Digest TOC and Digest Body together. It can also number your TOC. A Timer rule is then used to send the joined file to the Digest List.

  [ListSTAR 1.1 or later needed] A suite of scripts for interacting with StarNine's ListSTAR mailing list and email-on-demand software. A boon to Frontier scripters and mailing list administrators.
